Cinco Abril

Midweek madness has set in. I have as many days of vacation remaining as I've used, and it's time to reassess what is going to be done, and what is falling off the list. I'm afraid that there is more falling off than I hoped. But all in all it's been a good week.

Got the garage cleaned out this morning, and the beehives primed. Tomorrow is sheep shearing, can't you just tell I'm dying for a day of backbreaking sweat? I hope the weather holds. And tonight child number 4 returns from the East Coast where he's been on a trip all week. Child number one returns tomorrow night for a surprise Spring break. She'll turn 20 during the ten days she's here.

Now I just need to schedule the trips to the dump and to the gravel pit, and some seat time in the tractor smoothing out the road, and the week will be nearly spent.

It's been a good week. Hard work, but good work.
